Gary walked across the now abandoned pier in the small Northern village that was on the English channel, it was a Crowley tradition to go to this tiny wizard village every summer ever since he was a mere child. The chilly air seeped through his robes as he stood there admiring the reflection of the rising sun peaking from be the English channel. The sight was truly serene and tranquil opposed to his violent, bloody past. There is no denying that Gary Crowley was used by the dark lord for interrogation due to his extensive knowledge in torture spells and what not yet this was all in the past. Gary had been traveling across Europe stocking up on items and creatures in preparations for his classes at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He had just been recently appointed not only the Defence against the dark arts professor but the head of the Slytherin house. The glorious days he had spent there, the memories infinite.
Gary as the sun peaked the sky walked back to the village where life was beginning to kick in once more. Several villagers bustling around heading out to their farms and stores to begin their long day of work. This was his last destination before he headed back to the cold dreary winter of England once more to begin his job. Gary was now walking across the cobble stone roads on both sides of the roads straw thatched huts littered the roads with their plain stone walls and the simple wells in front of each home. Even during his run as a Death Eater he would come here to relax. Personally he preferred his other summer home in the Hungarian countryside than here but this place had some magic to it.
Gary walked to the tavern for some red wine, bacon and French toast. Gary walked into the busy tavern and seated himself in the far corner of the tavern as not to be disturbed ordered and awaited his raven to fetch him the Daily Prophet.

"Mia, Your Aunt Mattie is not well and has requested for you to be present at once. She has a train ticket sealed within this letter for you to pack your belongings for a weeks visit. We look forward to seeing you shortly.
Sincerely, Uncle Scott
The sound of the train whistle blowing had only indicated to Mia, a counselor of Hogwarts, that the four thirty train to France was departing now. Within a couple of hours, she would be arriving to spend a week an a half with her Aunt. It was a shame the poor woman was ill, but she really had other things to do, she had to ready herself for the next term. Things were so scattered in her office that she really hadn't had the time to straighten things out. Even more so, she really didn't want to leave Jack behind. "Oh Jack.." she sighed leaning her head against the window as she gazed out at the scenery moving at a steadfast pace. Really she didn't want to go, but her presence was requested and she was the only surviving relative aside from her Uncle Scott who wasn't doing too well himself. The poor bloke was just as bad as her Aunt, pity.
Mia didn't want to think about her Aunt any more, so she drifted her thoughts back to Jack. A smile lifted upon her lips as she thought back to the dinner they had at the Three Broomsticks. It was a wonderful night and just being with him made her happy. As the train pulled into a drop off point, Mia watched as others got off the train and more boarded. It felt as if she would never get there, train rides were long and boring. Closing her eyes, the wheels of the train began to go again, Mia decided she would take a short nap to refresh her until she got to her destination. Miles of ground was covered and two hours had passed when the train finally stopped into the station of France. Mia woke instantly and looked out the window. "Finally here." she thought to herself. Rising up out of her seat, she got in line to get off.
Little did Mia know that her uncle sent his driver for her, and saw that he was awaiting her there at the station, Mia gave him a warm smile. "Hello Butch." she greeted him. Mia walked down the platform and made her way into the carriage, her driver placed her belongings on the back of the buggy and began to set off towards her Aunts house. Yawning from the fact that she had little sleep, Mia watched as small buildings passed by and people looking up at the carriage as they pranced on by, then decided to close her eyes and rest. However, that didn't last very long when Mia was blinded by the peeking sun that was rising over the horizon. Gazing out the window, she noticed a few taverns were opening up. "Butch, stop here." she said and felt the carriage come to a halt. Mia stepped out and down the small stepping stairs onto the cobblestone road.
"Leave me here and I will return later, I have a few things I need to get." she told him, the man simply nodded and explained that he'd be back for her within a couple of hours. Mia nodded in agreement and set off toward the first tavern she saw. It was set up very nicely from what she could tell. Mia walked up to the tavern and went in, taking a seat near the window further back away from the sunlight breeching the surface of the land. The young woman glanced over the menu and ordered a small meal of eggs, toast, and sausage with a cup of tea. Leaning forward as she rubbed her eyes, still tired from the lack of sleep she had. She was sure that the tea would help her become refreshed for the days events.

The smell of the sizzling bacon with the french toast would make anyone's mouth water, as did Gary's when the food arrived handed to him by a beautiful brunette waitress. Gary nodded and without another word began to devour his meal. Yet just as he had put his fork and knife down he had noticed a pair of ocean blue eyes that belonged to a blonde head bobbing beneath the mass of muggles and wizards alike. From what he knew she like himself works at Hogwarts, her position unknown to Gary so far. She was an eye candy perhaps he could try his luck.
Gary held his goblet of wine and walked over to the captivating beauty. "Good morning Miss I believe that you work at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry no? Well please allow me to buy you a drink, my treat." That behaviour was very un-Gary like if Fenrir or Dolohov had seen this they would have probably puked from laughter but Gary was a playboy and that much was very known even amongst the Death Eaters. Gary chugged his drink down slammed it on the counter and asked for a Firewhiskey. "So any clue when these little rugrats will invade Hogwarts? I have been on an excellent hunt, looking for Boggarts and other assorted dark creatures for my class and then I decided to come to my favorite village so what bring you here?" What Gary was initially doing was opening up to her appearing as a friendly type whilst all the mean time he had a different plan in mind.

After ordering her breakfast, Mia picked up the newspaper that was sitting in the chair beside her. Opening it up, she began to read a section from the Medical Queries Column. A field she's been interested in for a long while, however her calling was to be a counselor and frankly she was quite satisfied with her job. The sound of a plate clanking against the wooden table made Mia jump slightly, her blue eyes peered over the news paper to see the waitress bring her food to her and her cup of tea. "Merci.." Mia said to the woman as she started to leave. Lifting the paper back up to read and nibbled on a little bit of toast. As she was reading, she found one article that was particularly interesting in the Emotional Dilemmas Column.
"A memorial will be held in the heart of Hogsmeade for those lost in the Great Battle."
Lifting her tea cup from the saucer to her lips, Mia took a drink as she continued to read further. Hearing a voice, Mia glanced up to see a man standing with a goblet in his hand and speaking to her. Setting the newspaper down on the side of the table, she smiled at the man. "Yes, I do. I'm Mia Persinger, Counselor of Hogwarts." she replied, folding the napkin in her lap. When he offered to buy her a drink, Mia tilted her head slightly and decided to allow that much. "Alright, next one is mine." she said to him. Looking down at her watch to make sure she had enough time, she glanced back up at the man when he asked about the students coming back to Hogwarts. Mia wasn't really sure what to tell the man. It was really the decision of the Headmaster's.
"Umm, no I don't actually. I assume it'll be at the beginning of July." she replied placing her hands in her lap. "So you have been hunting down Boggarts and other dark creatures eh? Sounds interesting and fun." Mia said with a small smile. She wasn't a fan of boggarts because they were really creepy. He asked her what brought her to the area. "Well, my aunt is ill and requested my appearance to stay with her for a couple of weeks. So here I am. I just got in not all to long ago." she replied. "Why do you like it here?" Mia inquired, "What about this villa attracts your interest?"

Gary nodded as she introduced herself, watching her fold the napkin. OCD much? Gary thought to himself and smirked she was falling into her trap really fast as she tilted her head and accepted his offer on the condition that she buys him the next, Gary thanked Merlin that he was a heavy drinker thus his tr
